Day 39

When Timothy was a little guy he loved playing with empty boxes. He would get nice toys and he would look at them for a second and then off to the box it came in. He would climb in and out, use it for a table, make a cave and other little creative things.

Nanny and Buddy Boy thought this was funny. They would build things with Timothy out of the boxes. Timothy loved this! Timothy passed this on to sweet Ella and Audrey...they love boxes too.

Day 38

Until recently, I didn't have many pictures of me growing up but one picture I did have was me feeding my baby doll in the eye when I quite young.

It's funny because a few years ago Lainie was doing the exact same thing with her baby doll. I didn't realize it until John uploaded the pictures of Lainie and I told him I have a picture of me doing the same thing.

Day 37

When John and I were married we were both still in college, so we didn't have the money to go on a big honey moon. We packed up Timothy and went to Kansas City and went to Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun. We had a great time.

When we were living in Ames, Iowa and we had Timothy, Johnathon, Thomas and Amanda, my mom offered to babysit, so we could go to Jamaica. We were really excited! We had never been on a trip alone. We decided we would renew our wedding vows too.

We had such a nice time! We made hats together, went horseback riding, spent time on the beach, went a mini boat cruise, ate a lot of good food, site seeing, renewed our vows, snorkeling and climbed the Dunn's River Falls. It was all so exciting and such an adventure, especially for me because I am such a chicken. I almost ducked out of climbing the Dunn's River Falls but made it through with a little coaxing.

We missed the kiddos like crazy! We actually wished we could have cut our trip a day or two early to go home and hug them all.

When Lainie bug was little. The pictures say it all. She is such a riot!

Making Memories....

UT Austin is a very nice campus and Austin is a great city with a lot to do. We had a very nice time visiting. We toured the campus and took a van tour of the city. This is Thomas and Amanda's number one pick so far.
