Family Memories....

Day 57

Grandma and Grandpa Cox lived in Italy for 3 years. Grandpa is an engineer and took a civilian position with the navy years ago and his last assignment was in Italy. They flew back to the US for Johnathon's high school graduation. They were here for a week and then we were flying to Italy about a month later.

While they were here Lainie and grandpa were sitting at the island having breakfast and talking. Lainie stood up and misstepped on the stool and down she went on the wood floor. Of course, she blames her grandpa. He actually didn't have anything to do with her fall.

Her arm was really bothering her. I kept a close eye on her and there really wasn't any improvement over the next hour, so I took her to the ER and they did an x-ray and sure enough it was broken.

So Europe bound with a broken arm. Luckily, right before we left they put on a removable cast. Guess what color her cast was....pink it was.

She still thinks her grandpa did it. Poor grandpa.
