Family Memories....

Day 3

My mom and dad had there first house built when I was four years old. 
12119 Sandra Lane Omaha, Nebraska. 
It backed up to the Q Twin drive-in. We could see one screen but hear the other. It's a subdivision now. 

After living in our house for awhile, my mom and I came home after an outing, to find that my dad had cut a hole in the kitchen wall... he decided we needed a window in the kitchen. It did turn out really nice when it was finished.

This is not the only time he went cutting walls either! The second time was the wall leading to our basement family room. He thought it would look nice if it was open and you could see it from the entryway. 

This time he wasn't so lucky and he cut a support wall, oops! No problem for my dad! He's a quick thinker and went and bought a decorative support beam.  Again, his idea was a success and my mom loved it!  He was an idea man... an impulsive idea man! 

 I love my daddy!
