Day 145

My mom and dad were going to be married in early March but right before their wedding day my dad told my mom he couldn't get married on that day because his annulment had not gone through. The problem with this is my mom didn't even know he was married. oops! They already had the announcement in the paper and invitations in the mail. My mom was not very happy about this. They ended up getting married on March 28 and just had a few close family and friends attend. 

This is not where the story ends. My dad also used the same rings from his first wife to propose and marry my mom with. ooops, number two! Again, my mom didn't know about this and when she found out she demanded he get her different rings and he did. After getting her own set of rings she wanted to renew their wedding vows in her rings. This why they had two small weddings and why I was able to attend the second one. My daddy was a sneaky little stinker but loved my mom to pieces.
