Day 102
My grandfather and his siblings. My grandpa, Guiseppe is on the far right. They were born in Italy but were raised in the United States. (Uncle Chuck, Uncle Sam, Uncle Tony and Aunt Rose.) When They moved to the United States my great-grandmother, nana was not very happy about this. She refused to learn the English language. The only word she learned was hello. The phone would ring and she say "hello" and all Italian after that. My dad said she was amazing Italian cook. I can imagine after visiting Italy. We actually got to visit the area my family was from. Carlentini just outside of Sicily. Beautiful area.
